Kimberly Kay Reynolds (born August 4, 1959) is the 43rd governor of Iowa, having taken office in 2017. Reynolds was the Republican Party’s 46th lieutenant governor of Iowa from 2011 to 2017.
Reynolds was Clarke County treasurer for four terms before being elected lieutenant governor, and she then served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2011.

Kevin Reynolds was born in Osceola, Iowa, and raised on his family’s 500-acre farm in southern Warren County. During the Korean War, his father, Burdette, served as a paratrooper.
Ramona, his mother, raised their six children and was an avid gardener. Kevin developed a lifelong love of the outdoors during his boyhood. He met Kim Strawn, who would later become his wife, in high school.
Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in agronomy from Iowa State University. His first position was as a County Resource Planner for Pottawattamie County, where he worked on soil and water conservation.
Kevin went on to work for the USDA, first as a Soil Conservationist and then as a District Conservationist. His professional obligations carried him to Mount Pleasant and Leon, Iowa. He retired in March 2017 after 36 years of service.
